How to Become a Sheep to Shawl Vendor
The Consignor sheets along with information and directions
are being sent out as separate documents. With the new system, Nancy B and Nancy
C are still tweaking the sheets and information to make the system workable.
Here are some important points to note: Nancy Brouillard
must receive your Consignor Sheets NO LATER THAN AUGUST 11, 2011!!!
At the Spider’s Market several people listed many more
items on the Consignor sheet than they brought for inventory check-in. Nancy B
had to enter all these items in the system, print out labels (that were not
used) and then delete the “no shows” from the system before the market opened.
This was a BIG problem—both in Nancy’s time and the expense of extra labels.
Since there are 3 weeks between the time the Consignor sheets are turned in and
Inventory Check-in, some “fudge factor” needs to be allowed for items you might
finish during that time period. We have set a limit of 20 items on the Consignor
sheets that are not checked in with no penalties. If 21-30 items are listed on
the Consignor sheets but not checked in, then 20% extra will be deducted from
the proceeds from any sales. If more than 30 items are listed on the Consignor
sheets but not checked in, then NO ITEMS FROM THE CONSIGNOR SHEETS WILL BE
ACCEPTED FOR SALE. Please review pages 29-31 for additional guidelines on shop
merchandise.
