All About Weaving
Weaving is the process of of crossing 2 yarns perpendicular to each other.
This produces a strong fabric that can be used to create all sorts of wonderful
useful things such as:
- Towels

- Rugs
- Upholstery
- Pillow covers
- Tablecloths
- Scarves
- Blankets
- Shawls
- Clothing
- Placemats
And lots and lots more!
Weaving uses a loom which can be small enough to sit on a table or large
enough to fill a small room.
You can learn to weave through books, DVDs, hands on instruction or all of
the above! See the resources page for some ideas for books, videos and web
sites. If you have questions about weaving, contact
info@lasaranas.org. We would be glad to
help you get started.
