We will have social time, a potluck lunch and a gift exchange. Please bring a potluck dish to share. If you would like to participate in the gift exchange, bring a wrapped gift of a $15 value.

Special interest groupsSwatch Swap Group
The Swatch Swap Group is made up of weavers who select a weave structure and then each person weaves a swatch of this structure for each of the members. This group contains beginners through advanced weavers. This is a learning group and each person determines the degree of difficulty for their swatches. The Las Arañas Online Spinning Group meets the first and third Saturday of the month at 10:00am. Zoom information will be sent out to the entire guild via email. This is a working group so bring whatever you are working on and participate in the camaraderie of fiber friends. Rigid Heddle Group

Open Space Visitors Center (OSVC), 6500 Coors Blvd NW The Tapestry Artists of Las Arañas (TALA) meet on the first Wednesday of the even numbered months, February, April, June, August, October and December. The meeting is held from 2:00pm to 4:30pm at the Open Space Visitors Center (OSVC), 6500 Coors Blvd. NW. It is a hybrid meeting with a zoom link available. Las Arañas Spinners and Weavers Guild was formed in 1971 by a group of spinners and weavers in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area. Its goal is to provide education and learning experiences for its members and increase awareness of and appreciation for fiber arts throughout New Mexico and beyond.
