When you become a member of the Las Arañas spinners and weavers guild you are not only joining a massive collective of knowledgeable folks with a passion similar to yours, you also get access to: 

  • MEETINGS: Monthly Meetings featuring unique programming with convenient alternate morning and evening times.
  • NEWSLETTER: Informative monthly newsletter delivered conveniently to your email inbox. Keep up with guild meetings, members, outreach, national and regional fiber related news, recipes and more!
  • WORKSHOPS: Exciting workshops by noted craftspeople on various techniques and fiber usage. Guild members get first dibs for signups!
  • COMMUNITY: Our guild is often invited to provide educational outreach and the demonstration opportunities seem endless
  • LIBRARY: The members only guild library is filled to the brim with a vast collection of books and magazines related to spinning and weaving. Some very hard to find out of print publications! 
  • RENTALS: As a guild member you will have access to a nice selection of equipment for rent at a very modest monthly rate
  • SCHOLARSHIPS: The guild has scholarship funds that members can apply for to attend educational events.
  • MENTOR MEMBERS: Many of  our members are expert fiber artists and a few are available for problem solving and most are quick to offer advice. Mentors are listed in the Membership Book!
  • MARKETS: Sell your work! Two annual fiber arts sales organized or co-sponsored by the guild. Sheep to Shawl (Fall) and the Spiders Market (Spring) Details for sellers are listed in the Membership Book!

    When you click on SUBMIT, the information on the Membership Form will be sent to the Guild.  Don't forget to pay your dues in the next step.
Alternately, download and print the membership form below, completed it, and mail it with a check for dues to the Las Aranas P.O.Box listed on the form.
